Who we are
Kayan Dental Clinics is a dental practice in Giza, Egypt. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
It covers this website only. It does not cover the clinical records we keep about your treatment, which are handled under our duties as a healthcare provider.
What we collect
When you submit an appointment request we collect: your name, phone number, and — if you choose to give it — your email address. We also collect the branch, treatment, preferred doctor, preferred date and time you select, and anything you write in the notes field.
Please do not send detailed medical history or clinical images through the website form. Bring those to your appointment or discuss them by phone.
If analytics is enabled, we may collect anonymous usage data such as which pages were visited and roughly where in the world the visit came from. This is only enabled if you consent.
Why we collect it
We use the details you give us for one purpose: to contact you and arrange your appointment. We will call or message you to confirm a time, and to let you know if we need to change it.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build a marketing profile of you.
Who we share it with
Your appointment request is delivered to the clinic by email through a transactional email provider. That provider processes the message on our behalf and does not use it for anything else.
The website is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request data such as IP address in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
We use Google Maps to show our location. The map only loads if you click to load it — nothing is requested from Google until then.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to.
Cookies
This site sets two functional cookies by default: one remembering your language choice, and one remembering whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Neither identifies you and neither can be used for tracking.
Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time, and declining costs you nothing — the site works identically either way.
How long we keep it
Appointment requests are kept for as long as needed to arrange and follow up on your visit, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.
If you ask us to delete a request and we are not required to keep it, we will.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also withdraw consent for analytics at any time.
To make any of these requests, contact the clinic using the details on our contact page.
How we protect your data
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Appointment requests are submitted over an encrypted connection and are rate limited to protect against abuse.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data and creates a real risk to you, we will tell you.
Children
We treat children, but appointment requests should be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child through this website.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
